Description

Due to the south-facing aspect, this tour is exclusively a ski tour for the depths of winter, since the snowmelt in the lower section of the tour makes for a great deal of work in the spring. The ascent climbs steeply in part via the so-called „Heuzieher-Riese“ up to Grießer Alm. Upon crossing the road (signposts) you bear right of Angstinger-Alm. The ascent route now proceeds east until you come to a small hunting lodge. In steep hairpin bends you now proceed steadily uphill to the „Wunalm“. A wonderful place right beneath the steep faces of the Wunwand which are very well suited to enjoying a rest and switching off.

Additional ski tour tips can be obtained in the ski tour guides by Thomas Mariacher. These are available here: http://www.grafikzloebl.at/verlag/buecher/
