Hikers’ buses and mountain hut taxis in Osttirol

Discover Osttirol without a car

Hikers’ buses, either operated by TVB Osttirol, the Osttirol tourism association, or by private providers, will take you up into the mountains. They run seasonally according to a fixed timetable. You will need to reserve them in advance and pay per person. There are also individual taxi and shuttle services that will pick you up at a time of your choosing and take you wherever you want to go, for example from the station to your accommodation, or from the end of your walk back to the starting point. There are also a number of mountain hut taxis that will take you to specific mountain huts.
