Cream butter, add sugar and mix well, slowly beat in egg yolks and stir until fluffy, fold in almonds. Beat the egg whites until firm and fold into the egg-butter mixture with the flour and milk. Heat the waffle iron, coat with butter and bake waffles with the batter.
Serve the waffles still warm, garnished with warm almond liqueur, finely chopped strawberries and whipped cream.
