Lake Tristach

A hidden gem in the middle of the untouched nature of Osttirol.

The idyllically situated Tristacher See is Osttirol's only natural bathing lake and is approx. 5 km from Lienz. With its clear water and surrounding forests, it offers those seeking relaxation and nature lovers the perfect destination for unforgettable moments in untouched nature. Whether for swimming, hiking or simply relaxing - here you can experience nature at its best.

 

The ascent is via Tristach to the Seewiese parking lot, where is a large paid parking lot. From the beginning of July, the Tristacher See lido can also be reached with the Regiobus Lienz (lines 1 and 2). The lido has a large sunbathing lawn with a beach volleyball court, 4 bathing jetties, a diving tower, an outdoor pool buffet and a small children's playground. Water temperature in summer up to 24°C.

Camping

The Seewiese campsite on Lake Tristach (838 m) offers a picturesque location on the only bathing lake in Osttirol, right in the heart of the Lienz Dolomites. Camping guests enjoy free entry to the Tristachersee lido!

Ice skating
