Starting point of this hiking trip is the parking place Bodenalm, which is located in the district Wallhorn in Prägraten am Großvenediger. Leave the driveway immediately and continue on the path, which leads through a partly wood-covered area, across a small stream and then crosses a driveway. Continue until arriving the hut Nilljochhütte (1.990 m)
