As the largest village in the Defereggen Valley, St. Jakob is around 42 km from East Tyrol's capital Lienz. The amenities of the city are therefore just an hour's drive away - and yet St. Jakob is as close to nature and unspoilt as it gets. The best place to enjoy this is on one of the farms in the village.
