At the roof-topped bridge at the west end of the town of Hopfgarten the Schwarzach slope in Hopfgarten starts, and in two variants, can be tackled on both banks of the Schwarzach. The turning point is just before the avalanche gallery and the slope proceeds back along the river to the starting point.
