On the road from St. Jakob, 1389 m, via Maria Hilf and Erlsbach, 1555 m. From Erlsbach to the Alpengasthof Oberhaus (car park) toll road - from here the Hohe Tauern National Park conservation area begins. Continue on the alpine road via the Seebachalm to the Jagdhausalm, the oldest alpine village in Austria, and then to the Arventalalm, which is managed by South Tyroleans.
On the hiking trail from Erlsbach; to the Patscheralm 1 1/4 hours, to the Oberhausalm 1 3/4 hours, Seebachalm 3 hours, Jagdhausalm 4 hours, Arventalalm 4 1/2 hours, Klammljoch 5 hours.
