Ultra Marathon SuperGiroDolomiti:
The Plöcken Pass was closed this year due to a rockfall on the Italian side! In consultation with the authorities and the executive, the organisation of the "SuperGiroDolomiti" was suspended in 2024 and rescheduled for 2025. People who had already registered could transfer their participation to the 2025 race or re-register for the 36th Dolomitenradrundfahrt.
As one of the most challenging cycling marathons in the Alps, the SuperGiroDolomiti attracts many extreme athletes. The route also leads through Italy and culminates at Monte Zoncolan, which has often been chosen as a stage finish for the "Giro d`Italia". A total of 5450 metres in altitude and 228 kilometres have to be mastered on the extreme variant. You can get a real flavour of the great Giro when countless flags adorn the houses, the villagers stand in the streets and the Polizia Stradale appears with a similar strength to that of a stage of the "Giro d`Italia". But even on Austrian soil, the surveillance work of the police is at the highest level! With over 400 helpers and friends, the organisation team is once again trying to ensure a perfect organisation and is looking forward to a large number of participants from near and far!
All participants will receive an attractive starting gift and a great souvenir medal and certificate for each race.
