Glauritwasserfall, Geigensee

water paradise Defereggental

From Bloshütte, which is accessible on foot via Zwenewaldtal or via the Taxi capanna Blassnig, the route initially proceeds to the impressive waterfall "Glauritwasserfall", continuing from there to the tranquil mountain lake "Geigensee", which gets its name from its shape which is similar to a violin (Geige = violin). With the Großglockner in the background, it is probably one of the loveliest hiking destinations in the region.
