Ultra Marathon SuperGiroDolomiti:
ATTENTION: The Plöckenpass is currently closed due to a rockfall on the Italian side! In consultation with the authorities and the executive, the"SuperGiroDolomiti" will not be held in 2024 and will be postponed to 2025. People who have already registered can transfer their participation to the 2025 race or register for the 36th Dolomitenradrundfahrt instead.
The SuperGiroDolomiti is a special sporting challenge. For several years now, the most demanding cycling marathon in the Alpine region has attracted many extreme athletes. The route also leads through Italian territory and culminates at Monte Zoncolan, which has often been chosen as the stage finish of the „Giro d‘Italia“. In total, there are 5450 metres of altitude difference and 228 kilometres to be mastered on the extreme version. A true touch of the great Giro can be felt when countless flags decorate the houses, the villagers stand in the streets and the Polizia Stradale appears with similar strength as it is the case at a stage of the „Giro d`Italia“. But also on Austrian soil the surveillance work of the executive is done at the highest level! The organisation team, with more than 400 helpers and friends, is again trying to ensure a perfect organisation and is looking forward to a large crowd of participants from near and far! All participants will receive an attractive starting gift and a great souvenir medal and certificate for each race.
