Rangertour: Jagdhausalm - Little Tibet of the Alps

At the back of the Defereggen valley you hike with the National Park rangers through the Oberhaus Swiss stone pine forest, past alpine pastures and ancient stone walls to the Little Tibet of the Alps - the Jagdhausalm. The 16 stone houses and the rustic Maria-Hilf chapel are nestled in a picturesque natural setting at 2,000 m above sea level and are among the oldest alpine pastures in Austria.
