Ausstellung "Human Being" von Petra Forman

On Thursday, March 13, the exhibition "HUMAN BEING" by the artist Petra Forman will be opened in the new art space Leibl at Michaelsgasse 22 in Lienz.

In her exhibition, the artist presents the provocative art series "Skinless" – an intense collection of mostly female heads or people and figures in turned or side positions that lays bare the fragility and rawness of human emotions. The artist aims to reveal to the viewer of the artworks the deepest layers of our identity and vulnerability.
Her preferred medium includes sensually designed figurative works that purposefully aim to ignite visceral reactions, far beyond mere visual perceptions. These works are crafted with great care to evoke deep emotional or instinctive resonances, rather than merely functioning as optical representations.

Consequently, the compositions blend abstraction with expressive elements, compelling the viewer to engage in a sustained emotional dialogue with themselves.
