17 pleasure routes from over 40 applications have been chosen by the ‘Kulinarium Tirol’ working group. The delicacies wild herbage represent Osttirol at the reconnaissance of local specialities and are guaranteed to provide delicious culinary treats for visitors.
Pleasure routes are hikes based around the theme of the food which is on offer throughout Tyrol. From the over 40 projects submitted, a panel of specialist judges selected a total of 17 pleasure routes. Members of the panel comprised representatives from the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber/ Tourism section, Agrarmarketing Tirol, Tiroler Wirtshauskultur, Tiroler Köcheverband, the Slow Food movement and Tirol Werbung. Those interested can head out either on guided or unguided forays through the local ‘pleasure’ landscape. Osttirol has particularly tasty speciality – Osttirols wild herbage.
