Compedal hut is located at the start of the toboggan route (please note the opening hours and give them a quick call beforehand.) There are some popular tour destinations above the ski lodge, so you should be on the look-out of tourers when you are heading up!
Preparation is carried out using piste machinery and a skidoo with an attached mat. As a result there are for the most part no masses of snow at the side. Since the track is very wide and somewhat flat, this means the lack of snow masses (except for a few short sections) presents no great safety risk.
Take care on the last third of the toboggan run, since you have to cross the T-bar lift area once and the ski piste on two occasions. However since this is a small ski area, the risk is low.
