Via the toll road to the Glocknerwinkel car park. In the direction of the Lucknerhuette on the left side of the stream to the goods cable lift and further to the right of the stream via a steep step until you reach the Lucknerhuette. Then continue towards Stuedlhuette, up a steep slope to the "Viehboeden", 2500 metres. Continue to climb the valley until you reach the Stuedlhuette on the Fanotscharte.
Possible descents:
Descent like ascent or at the beginning of the Viehboeden to the left, following the flatter part to Koednitzbach and down a narrow gorge and steep slopes until you get to the ascent track.
Description/tip:
A terrific ski tour with a view to the Grossglockner. The ascent is technically quite easy, although the steep path to the Lucknerhuette or the ascent from the Stuedlhuette across the steep slope are somewhat difficult. Furthermore, the route length of this tour should not be underestimated. You will be rewarded with a magnificent mountain panorama towards Grossglockner.
